Recruitment Policy
Any applicant that wishes to join the ranks of Clan Outcast must make their way through the hierarchy of the membership process. The following list outlines the process for joining Clan Outcast. The process is not complicated but the level of involvement required for membership is extensive in order to offer the applicant an opportunity to display their sincere interest in joining this gaming family.

1. The applicant fills out the form linked at the bottom of this document, which shall be forwarded to the Personnel Officer (P.O.) and the Council Members.

2. An auto-response is sent to the applicant, briefly detailing the process and the need to be visible on the servers, forums, and TeamSpeak.

3. P.O. creates a post in the Recruitment Forum which shall notify the Clan of the applicant’s interest.

4. Once 30 days have passed since the application was posted, any member of the Clan can nominate an applicant for a membership vote. The P.O. and the applicant shall be notified, via Private Message, by the nominating party.

5. A poll shall be created by the P.O., placed in the Applications, Members Votes and Polls folder and last for 5 days.

6. All of the Clan Outcast members will have an opportunity to vote on the membership poll. The applicant must receive 75% approval in the poll to be considered by the Council. The Council may decide to accept the poll, regardless of the number of votes cast.

7. P.O. will post results of membership vote in the Member’s Forum for Council approval. The Council reserves the right to deny membership to any applicant, provided the Council agrees by at least a 3-2 vote. The results of the poll will be considered approved UNLESS specifically challenged by the Council within 3 days.

8. P.O. will notify applicant of the completed recruiting process, authorize them to display the Clan tag and direct them to the appropriate team members if competitive gaming is desired. The new member will then be granted Member’s Forum access, Server Administration (SA) rights in TeamSpeak, and the ability to request game server administration capabilities. Finally the Code of Conduct, Server Rules, and Clan Charter, will be introduced to the member and the recruit will be henceforth be responsible for his or her behavior as a full member of Clan Outcast.

9. A Game Team Captain, Personnel Officer or Council Member may petition the Council for a procedural exception. A majority Council vote is required for acceptance into the Clan by this method.

10. If an applicant is rejected for membership in Clan Outcast, either by Council vote or a membership vote, they will be unable to submit another application for 30 days. They will NOT need to wait another 30 days for nomination.

By submitting a membership application you are agreeing to these conditions.
